If you take a good long sip of pure, refreshing drinking water and then stop a minute to think: what is pure drinking water? you will find that a good definition is difficult to come at.
How do we know? Simple: when you perform a search with your preferred Search Engine, by typing in your usual browser the three words above (pure drinking water) you will get a long list of commercial sites ready to sell you all sorts of products and gadgets, each one with a better solution then the other, but none attempts to offer explanations instead of assertions.
Only by looking quite hard you will find a Wikipedia article likely to provide a few hints on what is pure drinking water, starting with the Hydrologic Cycle.
You may think that only the pure drinking mineral water is what one should drink and you might be right in general, except that how can you be sure that the bottled water you purchase is indeed "mineral", coming from deep groundwater protected wells and containing only minerals helpful to health?
All this stuff may not seem much interesting, except that the quality and quantity of pure drinking water that we absorb daily (usually by drinking) is strongly connected with our health and well being.
Not only that. While healthy adults may be somewhat tolerant to not perfectly pure water and may adapt to straining conditions, children and babies are much more sensitive, and serious damage to their growth may ensue for lack of adequately pure drinking water.
Therefore, especially if you have dependent children in your household and you are responsible for their health and wellness, it is highly recommended that you summon your drive and find the spare time to look into this matter.
If you are like me you might sketch a syllabus covering all the subjects of this argument. I would browse a few pages on Water and Health, I would look for the factors that affect water contamination, I would take up purification procedures, I would learn what can we expect to find at our tap, I would enquire on the quality of bottled water and finally I would like to see how can we improve on the supply to obtain the pure drinking water we deserve.
You may wish, if this suits you, to follow the path I traced in my website, reported further down in the resource box, and discover a few pages from reputable sources that provide the information sought to the depth level you are ready to sink to.
Then you will know all you need to take your informed selection and you will have put to rest the worries on the supply of pure drinking water for the healthy development of your kids and for the wellness of yourself. You are invited to go ahead and explore...
