Valencia is located on the central Mediterranean coast of Spain and is the country's third-largest city. Javea is a fantastic location inside the Valencian community and has many long term lets in javea. Since the 13th century it's been one of the Mediterranean's major towns, and has held a major power over the fate of Spain. In truth, the main bankers of Christopher Columbus' famous voyage were influential merchants from Valencia.

Javea's popular beach 'Arenal' has many apartments and villas close by. Long term rentals in Javea have been very popular in this resort. Valencia has done much to establish itself as a major industrial and modern city, however the old city and its environment still feature much great heritage. Valencia's fine Gothic Cathedral, with its octagonal bell tower was finished in the 15th century. If you are up to the task, climb the 207 steps for the best view of Valencia in the city. Plaza de la Reina is the old city Square, and has much historic character. The Gothic Lonja de la Seda ( silk exchange ) was built between 1482 and 1548, and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the main traveller attractions in Valencia. For another great taste of Valencia heritage, walk the winding old streets of the Barrio del Carmen and you'll see many traditional buildings as well as experience the bustling present-day Valencia.

Today, Valencia is more offered and visited for its modern tourist destination'The town of arts and Sciences', which is built at the end of the old riverbed Turia. After the great flood of Valencia in 1957, the river was bypassed, and this new cultural and architectural complicated was afterwards situated here, construction beginning 1996. The first ultra-modern structure to open was L'Hemisferic, an Imax Theatre, Laserium and Planetarium. Following were an interactive science museum, a landscaped modernistic walk with indigenous plants that also features a skill gallery, L'Oceanographic, which is the biggest oceanographic aquarium in Europe, as well as a modern bridge and main square.

Long lets in Javea are a major attraction to this thriving community near Valencia.
