A vacation is not just a vacation. More than the fact that it is spent to recharge, relax and unwind from all the stressors we encounter, it is also a time for to better one’s awareness about the things around him—to explore and to learn. Myrtle Beach—who wouldn’t find this sanctuary as one of the bests to stay and indulge in? The sleek sands, alluring blue sea, warm sun, balmy winds, and the happy people around equals all the fun and enjoyment! But isn’t it better to have more than just what the eyes can see at a single gaze? When visiting a place, it is very much amusing if one gets to see the best that the place has to offer. More than the sands and the sea itself, Myrtle Beach has so much more in store for everyone: attractions that everyone will surely be delighted to see and experience. Here is a list of the 5 must-go spaces and must-see places in Myrtle Beach:

Landmark Resort

Vacation would also mean a few days’ stay to avoid hassle resulting from lack of time to enjoy a visited place. Having a place to stay for your vacation would also mean a lot, saving you time and effort finding and visiting the most famous sites on a certain vacation spot. A traveler must be very smart and selective in choosing a place to stay, a place that showcases most of what is around your selected vacation haven. For a beach stay, wouldn’t it be perfect having a room that oversees the shimmering sands and the calming blue sea? Not to mention having a glimpse of the shops, restaurants and clubs nearby. And while you’re in it, you’ll definitely love having stress-free personnel service provided by your chosen hotel. In that case, consider Landmark Resort as your place to stay. Bank on the previous tourists’ annotations, Landmark Resort is definitely the place to be. The resort oversees the long beachside; rooms are undeniably sparkling clean, staff offers world-class accommodation, a pool complex with big pools you can choose from, multiple hot tubs of different sizes, a bonus relaxing indoor and outdoor Lazy River that kids and adults would definitely enjoy, and to top it all off is a 5-step walk to reach the beach. The fees may be a bit higher than usual but is absolutely all worth it. The place also offers great deals off-season for everyone to enjoy. That’s why, unquestionably, Landmark Resort grabs a spot on being an attraction of Myrtle Beach.

Freestyle Music Park

What would a vacation be then without a stroll at your selected “escape” point? Being at Myrtle Beach, it should be impossible to miss out on its latest, hottest charm. What else, but Freestyle Music Park. Formerly known as Hard Rock Park, this theme park reopened last May 23, 2009 with an all-new management. The place’s name righteously describes the main theme of the park—music. Music beats dominate the spacious grounds that energize guests throughout their visit. Admission rates apply depending on guests’ age. Kids aged three to nine years, tend to pay exact or about $10 less compared to rates that apply for adults. Kids aged two and below on the other hand are admitted free. The theme park is open from 11 a.m. ‘til 10 p.m. on weekends and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesdays and on other selected weekdays. Eligible North and South Carolina residents also have a $10 discount on rates. Freestyle Music Park is a total attraction to visitors of Myrtle Beach because of its all-around array of activities available that keep guests in awe. Roller coasters, amusing rides, great shows, children's play areas, restaurants that offer delectable dishes, comforting cafés, different retail stores, a multi-purpose live music amphitheatre and a park-wide sound system that play a range of different music genre keeps the ambiance lively and memorable. So when in Myrtle Beach, remember not to miss out on dropping by FM Park.

Marvin’s Sports Bar

After a long day of fun, strolling and beachside activities, nothing would beat a scrumptious plate of a good meal. The tiring day would tend to have you craving for delectable food and drink to quench the long day’s hunger and thirst. Count on previous guests’ remarks, Marvin’s Sports Bar is a favorite spot and the perfect place to be. It’s hidden in plain sight just footsteps from all the action yet it sits back just enough that you will and have to know that its there. It’s downtown, right on the beachside. It’s a very good place to watch the football games. It’s got the best chicken wings ever! And the nachos, burgers and hotdogs are equally great too. The coldest of beers never ran out. The music played on the jukebox and view of the beachside is the best! And the food, service and prices, great! Happy-hour is just really how happy hour should be at Marvin’s. The bartenders are just wonderful. The place got this neighborhood bar atmosphere and the vibe in the bar is just so comfortable.

Apache Pier

Bragging to have longest pier in the east coast, Apache deserves to be a top attraction in Myrtle Beach. If you want to maximize your budget, Apache pier is the place to be. You can enjoy live entertainment and can rent fish polls. Fishing is a common activity in Myrtle Beach, but watching other people fish is another. Children would also enjoy here since dolphins, sting rays and jellyfishes are very visible within the waters. There are also small arcades where they can play.

Broadway at the Beach

Before leaving Myrtle Beach and going back to the city life, Broadway at the Beach is a great place to finish your stay. The mall would be good but Broadway at the Beach would be so much better. Opportunity to meet locals, see the locals’ usual activities and have fun while having good old talks is always something to look forward to and to reminisce in the future. Lots of viewing, eating, chatting, drinking, fun and of course, shopping is ready to fill every tourist up. You’re sure to find something unique and wonderful to bring back home for everyone without having to be cluttered in the mall with all the other locals and tourists that roam around. A beautiful lake is surrounds all the stores. Lots of great seafood restaurants, ice cream shops, plus the liberty brewery is ready to fill every hungry tummy. Family-friendly stores are widely available that allow families and groups to celebrate together. There also are fish-feeding stalls to play on while waiting for time to pass or just for old relaxation’s sake. Myrtle Beach isn’t just a Beach to itself. It’s a relaxation and entertainment paradise in one.
