The Samsung I7500 has recently been made available in the market and its retail price of about €300 is appropriate as the device offers many respectable features and even a few bells and whistles that you typically find on a touchscreen smartphone.

The Samsung I7500 is a 3G device so this means you are afforded best of class Web browsing experience.  By way of the HSDPA network, download speeds get up to as much as 7.2Mbps so rendering of pages is quick, website elements are displayed beautifully and accurately and downloading of content is a breeze.  You can send e-mails and participate in instant messaging over the I7500 and the phone’s virtual QWERTY keyboard should be sufficient enough to take care of your typing needs.

A GPS receiver is built into the phone and its performance is quite notable as location fixes are swift and accurate geographical information sent quickly on your mobile.  You can sync its phonebook with your Gmail account and its phonebook entries and call records are virtually unlimited.

The Samsung I7500 runs on the Android OS and this means you get access to myriad practical applications from Google.  Latitude, Google Search and Google Maps are just some of the applications you can run on this phone.  You can have your calls forwarded to voice mail which is quite convenient if you are unable to take calls at the moment.  Other organizational tools include a calendar which is also synchronizable, a calculator and voice memo functionality.

As a work phone, the Samsung I7500 is very capable indeed but the highlights of this phone also include a fun multimedia set that provides you with hours of pleasure.  There is a music and video player that is very easy to operate and the I7500 is able to play MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, MP3, eAAC+, WMA and RA video and file formats.  The phone has a 3.5mm socket so you can use headphones, if you prefer, to listen to your song collection.

The device also sports a 5 megapixel camera with a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels.  Now this may not sound much on a camera but the images that are captured by this mobile’s snapper are fine and rather attractive.  Geo-tagging is enabled on the I7500 so you can assign geographical data on the pictures that you take.

The display of the Samsung I7500 is an AMOLED screen which affords you brilliant views and energy-efficient power consumption.  The Samsung I7500 is available in stores and retails for upwards of €500.
