It is no secret that Darwin's theory of evolution has come under fire over the last few of decades. The reason? Because the theory has been based on 'facts' that are no longer backed up by science over the last few decades.
Most of us have learned the theory of evolution via our universities and public schools. Very few realize that almost all of these ‘facts' that we learned have been disproved over the last few decades. And it has been scientists (not theologians) that have disproved the 'facts' that we have been told.
Whether we are discussing Darwin's Evolutionary Tree, Evolution of the Horse, The human evolution chart or the fossil record, every one of these have been proven not to support the theory of evolution literally decades ago.
As we observe the 'evolution of the horse' chart, we find that the beginning of the 'ancestry' has had nothing to do with horses. Other factors make this chart unaccceptable, even by a large majority of evolutionists.
The so called evolution tree has been discarded even by a majority of evolutionists. Many of the charts are in disagreement with eachother. Evolutionists cannot say what one kind of creature actually evolved from (a major problem with the theory).
The 'human evolution chart' has ended up being a chart with just apes and then humans with nothing in between, if all of the mistakes, non-existent ape-men and hoaxes are removed.
And scores of these 'facts' exist that is no longer in support of evolution or at least based on faulty science.
Unfortunately, our textbooks still contain these disproven 'facts' as if they were true although many of the evolutionists are well aware of the problems with the ideas.
What are the implications of these charts and pictures in the textbooks? It simply means that our children are learning information that is known to be wrong.
Most of us have been educated with these ideas as well. Although it is just a theory, it is often given as a fact or a law. When we are told something regarding the theory of evolution, it is most often based on hypothesis that evolution is real.
This seems logical because the teachers, professors and students have been taught that it is true. Any denial of the theory is not allowed in the discussion. Scientific journals seem to be determined to keep any debate of the subject out, even by fellow evolutionists if the evidence runs contrary to the theory.
But the evidence of science is 180 dgrees in opposition to any kind of evolution. But you would never know this by what we hear and read in journals and textbooks. Only those that are willing to dig a little bit below the surface (of textbooks, nature shows etc.) are discovering the vast amount evidence against Darwinism. Fortunately, more and more students of the subject are willing to do just that.
This leaves us with a very interesting question.
If science does not back up the idea of evolution, then what category does it belong in? The only possible one would be that of a philosophy or religion. And if evolution is a religion, then is it possible that, just maybe, our children are being taught a state religion?
