Samsung i5700 Galaxy Becomes Killer Phone

The Samsung i5700 Galaxy Spica is becoming the iPhone killer in the United Kingdom. Right now, it is not actually released. This is due to it being released late in the phone season, and many providers have already picked out their Christmas stock. However, you can still get this phone when it launches in the United Kingdom in 2010. It is predicted to be on the O2 network, which is great for pricing, but could be priced in a wide range of real estate.

There are a couple features that make the i5700 Galaxy Spica worth buying regardless of price.  First of all, there is the new feature that allows you to watch DivX movies without any file conversion.  This is new and is only available with the i5700 Galaxy Spica.  Otherwise you would have to go with the iPhone and even that does not play the DivX format movies without having some type of conversion done to them!  This is a great benefit to those people who enjoy high quality movies.  While avi files are good, the DivX format is famous for being the best on the market.

In addition to having a phone that can play high quality DivX files right out of the box, you know you are getting a good phone when the Android operating system is included.  You are able to get so much more done with the Android operating system.  The phone runs much more quickly, you are able to run multiple applications at the same time and even enjoy some of the many wonderful features.  It is all up to you, but there is so many different applications that can be downloaded from the Android Marketplace that it is astounding.

Not only can you download applications, but you can make your own.  Unlike other phones, you are not required to have a certain operating system on your computer to make your own application.  Instead, you simply download the developers kit and get to work.  Your application can be meant to benefit just you, or you can send it to others as well.  Google is not nearly as stringent when it comes to application guidelines and will let anything that is “safe” pass through their filter.

After you have downloaded some of the new applications, you are going to be able to use them to your full advantage.  Don't worry if there are no pictures to try to differ between your contacts, there is a built in 3 megapixel camera that will help you with that.  Still having more problems with finding ways to fill up the 180 MB of internal hard drive.  It can be expanded to 32 GB with a SD card.  Luckily, you can put some music onboard and listen to it on your headphones through a 3.5 mm headphone jack.  Do not worry, there is plenty of space left onboard for you to store some of your emails too.  After all, what would the Android operating system be without the Gmail Push email service!
