San Blas, Panama – a mere twenty minutes plane ride from Panama City, you feel like you have stepped back twenty centuries. Gone is the bustle of the city, and welcomed is the province run by Kuna Indians, who have kept government of this area for years with minimal intrusion from the national government. Dive some of the oldest reefs in the world and experience the legends, music and dance of this independent area. Colchagua Valley, Chile – this scenic Chilean valley is often voted the best wine region in the world, where you can visit the wine cellars and sample the exquisite red wines locally produced,. People enjoy bike rides through the vineyards, or if you fancy something a little more relaxing, take a horse drawn carriage.
