The syllabus of UGC-NET Computer Science is very vast and it requires a strategic planning to finish the syllabus . I think if a guy has not been in touch with Core Computer Science , he/she will require atleast two attempts to clear UGC-NET . It is specially true for working people . This has been the case with me . but thanks God to TRAJECTORY EDUCATION , 3-4 questions matched from their study materials . In this article i will be discussing how to go through UGC-NET .
There are three papers in UGC- NET Computer Science :
1. Paper 1 : General paper .
In my case i mugged everything in the two booklets i got as part of the Correspondence Course for UGC -NET in Computer Science from TRAJECTORY EDUCATION . Almost all questions of teaching aptitude , research aptitude & people & Environment part matched from the two booklets , being an software engineer , DI was cakewalk for me .
2. Paper 2 : Objective
3. Paper 3 : Subjective
Well it requires a very sensible approach to cover the topics . Since i was weak in Compiler & Automata part , i just went through the notes of trajectory education , and i think it was not in depth but adequate for UGC-NET .I bet a single book can cover Automata part , but the materials provided by trajectory was sensibly designed for NET.
Then i read OS from the Famous Galvin book , solved all objective problems from trajectory sheets . Being a engineer , Digital was my favouriate , never looked at it .Networking was also easy and i insist people should read from Tenenbaum , it is the only book you need for UGC-NET ..don't touch Foruzan ...its great but not necessary for UGC-NET .
Software Engineering , AI : I covered it from trajectory sheets .
If you ask me about Coaching Institutes , i think there is only one Institute that Specializes in Classroom so they have the most updated Study materials. Its trajectory education .. i think there are many small institutes that show up in google search but their material lacks research .
Meanwhile guys i am ready for any help ..because i know how much difficulty i faced during my preparation for UGC -NET Computer Science .. i am usually active at UGC-NET Forum of www.trajectory.in.
