An entry level out of the choir for professionalism and accuracy.
The new Canon EOS 500D, which I had the accasione to test first-hand the past few days, even very closely, is the top entry-level SLR. It features a CMOS image sensor APS-C 15.1-megapixel, 1090p HD video recording at 20 fps, 3.0 inch LCD from 920,000 dot, ISO range expandable to 12800, precessore Digic 4 with less noise at high ISO, 3.4 fps burst.
This new SLR from Canon's technical characteristics would seem to overcome the enemy, sparking a fight market not indifferent to other rival brands we all know.
Every detail of the shot is immediately visible through the display of 3 inches to 920000 points, good button placement, clear access to the menu system EOS.
The 500D is also very practical when shooting, has the help shooting from difficult angles and LiveView mode. Interesting is the presence of an HDMI connection that allows playback of high definition video and images on HD televisions.
Excellent 9-point AF system, cross sensor high sensitivity, suitable targets faster and with great aperure. Classic and always functional EOS cleaning system for dust prevention.
Just picked up demonstrates the robustness and reliability of all Canon products,
feels to have a massive machine and the dimensions are ultimately contained.
What struck me personally are the finishing touch and the invoice professional canon wanted to give this machine.
The shots speak for themselves, imaging eos has a new stgandard of interest:
500D
Top Technology
Just bought and then with little evidence, but I will point out strengths and weaknesses of each feature:
15.1-megapixel CMOS sensor
The pictures are less sharp than my last Canon 10mp but with the software supplied Digital Photo Professional resolves everything (the limit you can modify the settings of the camera)
Full HD (1080p)
Full HD not filmed anything since the 20fps seems to me a cabbage, but at 720p with 30pfs Well .... movies that guys! sure you go on working and you have to take the hand with the manual adjustment of focus but it's worth it. With a 16-32gb SDHC card space is not a problem for any human being and the cache is not full even with a class 2
ISO 12,800 sensitivity in low light conditions
To me all these iso are useless, there will never use them, I do not go.
RAW processing 14-bit
careful that PS CS3 does not process any more, but Digital Photo Professional that came finally to the occasion
3.4 fps continuous shooting, maximum burst of 170 pictures in JPEG
to me it makes less
LCD 3 "Clear View mode with Live View
Finally I can see if a photo is in focus or not.
9-point AF system
nothing has changed
DIGIC 4
Everything is faster with menus etc ...
EOS Integrated Cleaning System
is how! (but not new)
