A new one? What s the old one? Cosmology, from the Greek, cosmologia-order and logos (word, reason, plan) is study of the Universe in its totality! So we think as though we know it all? By extension then the conclusions are humanity's place in it. Though the word cosmology is recent (first used in 1730 by Christian Wolff), the study of the Universe has a long history involving science, philosophy, esotericism, and religion. So, we're talking something BIG here!
Let's begin by saying the cosmos is what the cosmos is, but we the inhabitants of it are changing greatly!
The consciousness of humanity is a story of an ever increasing, and probably greatly interrupted, advances in our ability to udnerstand the world we live in. we're going to need to employ all of the philosophical disciplines, get beyond the creation myths, or at least understand them. As had as it will be for the scientific community we must realize that the cosmos, as Gill Edwards put it, "is based on unconditional love, which we are inseparable. Love is what we are. What is more, we are not victims of fate or chance or karma, but divine co-creators of everything (without exception) that happens to us."
Damn, that one hurts! Surely we can blame someone!!! :-(
But, it's like Napoleon Hill said on a lesser philosophical level say, 'No one can escape the responsibility for the position that they find themselves (though I wrestle with a few exceptions therein)." This universe was created BY LOVE and it is a loving universe that groans for us to step up to the proverbial plate of selflessness and bring about what IS, and not the aritificial world that we've created.
There is emerging a consciousness that's not wed to what's not real!
There's a mustard seed planted which is going to come to maturity in the not too distant future. It's just too bad that so many have had to suffer and are suffering for the egoic mania that we're wed which can only bring division. A new cosmos is underway, indeed!
